Mrs. Leach reads the same story all week long. She begins by looking at the pictures and having students guess what the story is about. The following days they read the story, discuss the author, setting, characters and such. Then, the students get to retell the story as Mrs. Leach turns the pages. On one special day the class does a hands-on project that supports the story of the week. This week the story was about what happens to The After- Christmas Tree. Take a look at all the fun they had!
