Brevard Christian School was started in 1968 as a ministry of Bethany Ministries. The school, at one time, was operated under the Accelerated Christian Education principles, but has been functioning as a traditional school since 1981 using primarily A Beka Book curriculum at the pre school level and Bob Jones University Press Curriculum from 1st to 12th grade. We also use various secular texts in the secondary level.
Brevard Christian School is owned and operated by Bethany Baptist Church of West Melbourne, Florida. Thus, it is designed as a private church school. The enrollment consists not only of members of Bethany Baptist Church, but of students from many other churches in the surrounding area.
