Brevard Christian School was started in 1968 as a ministry of Bethany Ministries. The school, at one time, was operated under the Accelerated Christian Education principles, but has been functioning as a traditional school since 1981.

 Brevard Christian School is owned and operated by Bethany Baptist Church of West Melbourne, Florida. Thus, it is designed as a private church school. The enrollment consists not only of members of Bethany Baptist Church, but of students from many other churches in the surrounding area. 

BCS has the BEST children anywhere.  The positive climate of our school encourages a productive attitude in our students.  Whether it is a brilliant smile and a correct answer or the satisfied expression from a task well done... there is no greater joy than the bright face of a happy child.
